The most cost effective option is to rent an office coffee machine for a fixed term. With rental, all the service, maintenance and major cleaning are carried out without cost to you. You pay for all the consumables you use and there is no minimums. The result of this is that that the real cost of a cup of coffee from a rental or leased office coffee machine is around 31% less than pay per cup fresh milk machine and 33% less than a capsule pay per cup plan.
Daily: Empty the grounds drawer and drip tray, clean all surfaces of the machine
Weekly: As above and remove brew group, whipper bowl/s and tubes, rinse under clean water and dry (5 minutes) – or daily on high use machines.
Monthly: As above and insert espresso cleaning tablet and push auto clean button (7 minutes). These are the basic instructions and can vary with machine features, options and usage.

While we are not part of Fairtrade, Rainforest Alliance and similar groups (see the attached discussion paper), our coffee is sourced from direct trade as well as suppliers that encourage and mentor farmers towards a more sustainable coffee production, processing as well as ensuring direct return in the immediate social environment.
All office and commercial fresh milk coffee machines will need daily cleaning. It is very important to carry out the recommended daily clean cycle as per instructions. There are two reasons for this: 1) you are maintaining good hygiene within the machine for the health and well-being of others and 2) you will be guaranteeing that the machine will be working when it is needed.
To summarise, poor cleaning habits lead to high levels of bacteria and machine breakdowns.

As most automatic coffee machines have a provision for only one milk type (whether it be a granulated or fresh milk machine) it will limit the selections available to the alternative milk users.
We do have machines that have twin milk offerings with two completely separate milk lines to totally avoid cross-contamination.
