When Covid-19 hit our country and the resulting restrictions, many companies that we all depend so much on had to keep their manufacturing lines open. But that came at a cost.
And Bulla was not exempt from this. Many of the 100’s of touch points had to be eliminated if possible to minimise the person to person transmission of the virus.
What is unique with Bulla is the way they approached this task. As a leading American philosopher William James once said, “It is our attitude at the beginning of a difficult task which, more than anything else, will affect its successful outcome”.
The Bulla team was really stood out in the planning and elimination of touch points. They methodically went through the factory and employee breakrooms and successfully completed all required modifications.
But when it came to coffee for the staff they turned to CoffeeTec for a touchless solution.
Once the problem was explained to us we were able to offer the all new Vitro X3 automatic coffee machine fitted with the patented Air-Touch, touchless technology.
The Vitro Air-Touch coffee machines allows the user to select a drink without ever touching the screen, just “hover” a finger near the drink selection for a couple of seconds is all that was needed.
So with all five factories converted to Air-Touch, Bulla was one of the first manufacturing companies in Australia to successfully comply with the touch-free directives.
And of course, Australians could not go through a summer without Bulla’s famous ice-cream – that would shut down the country faster than a virus!
