Responsibilities
Management
CoffeeTec’s management is accountable for:
- Providing and maintaining a safe work environment in accordance with legal requirements.
- Implementing safe systems of work and procedures that comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations.
- Ensuring machinery, tools, and substances are maintained in a safe condition.
- Providing necessary facilities that support the welfare and wellbeing of our team.
- Delivering clear information, instruction, training, and supervision to ensure a safe workplace.
- Actively consulting and collaborating with staff on safety matters.
- Continuously improving safety standards through effective health and safety management practices.
Workers
All CoffeeTec workers share a responsibility to:
- Follow safe work procedures to protect themselves and others.
- Take reasonable care of their own health and safety, and that of those around them.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Comply with all health and safety instructions issued by management.
- Never misuse or tamper with safety equipment or procedures.
- Immediately report all incidents, injuries, and near misses—regardless of severity.
- Proactively identify and report hazards to supervisors or managers.
Scope and Application
This policy applies across all areas of CoffeeTec’s operations, including off-site work environments. We encourage collaboration and open communication from all staff, clients, and partners to help us achieve our shared objective of a zero-incident workplace.
